The province has introduced a new program for the purchase and use of strychnine for rodent control.
Training is required to purchase strychnine – training dates May 4 to August 1, 2026.
All farmers and producers must complete the required training during this period in order to be eligible to purchase strychnine. Proof of certification will be required at the time of sale. The R.M. is not permitted to sell strychnine to anyone who has not completed the required training.

The R.M. does not currently have any strychnine in stock or know when it will be arriving.
