We are a progressive rural municipality located in the southwest part of Saskatchewan. The municipality contains the communities of Leader, Liebenthal, Mendham and Prelate, and has a rural population of 284 over 1,259 square kilometres. Our main industries include agriculture, commercial, oil and gas development.
Our prairie landscape provides for a wide array of activities. The South Saskatchewan river is located on the north boundary, rolling hills to the south, and great agricultural land all provide great opportunities for hunting, fishing, bird watching and golfing just to name a few.
